Two of three Anna C Petteys Scholarships awarded to Re-1 Valley Students
Congratulations to Megan Kaiser of Sterling High School and Jordan Nelson of Caliche High School! These young women won this selection among 24 other applicants from 12 high schools across six counties in northeastern Colorado. The selection committee chose Ms. Kaiser and Ms. Nelson following personal interviews with eleven finalists. á
Science and Engineering Winners Go to State!
Congratulations to our Science and Engineering Regional Winners! Your hard work an perseverance is recognized. Good luck at the State CSEF competition!

RE-1 Valley FBLA State Champions go to National
Our district sentá a record number of students to the state competition in Vail this April. Ninety students in all,á from Caliche and Sterling High competed.á Four teams won the next step to go to the National Competition, two teams from Caliche and two from Sterling High. Also congratulations to our great FBLA advisors, Caliche advisor Ms. Lambrecht and Sterling advisor, Mr. Kelley.
Caliche Offers Students Over 60 World Languages
Utilizing online certificated coursework with Rosetta Stone, Caliche Students are earning High School credit with rigorous courses in more than 60 language offerings.á All High School credits are recognized by all universities and foreign service organizations.á These offerings are highly interactive and include mastery learning in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Sterling High School is adding the Rosetta Stone World Language opportunity in the Fall of 2016.

We are excited to offer an online blended learning option​
RE-1 Valley School District is excited to announce the offering of an online/blended learning program for qualifying high school students, 10th-12th grade.á See the brochure here for more information about whether an online, blended learning approach to high school is a good match for you or your student.á
PARENT/GUARDIAN RESOURCES
In the event of inclement weather, or dangerous driving conditions, school delay or cancelation notification will be posted on the top of the homepage. A reverse phone message will also go to all families and staff.á Additional information about snow days are under the parent tab.

The RE-1 Valley School District website has several "Parent Resources" in the "Parent" link on the home page.á You will find information for parents about special topics in addition toálinks to community resources.ááAs always, feel free to contact your child's school if you find that you need additional support for any of the topics in that "Parent" link. School staff will be able to find the correct contact to assist with supporting RE-1 Valley students and families. -Children should report any suspicious behavior or any behavior that makes them uncomfortable to an adult as soon as possible.áá
